ESG and Corporate ResponsibilityOur Mission: “Help people succeed and organisations grow”

Vivo was launched on the belief in people; and the role we could play in making positive changes to help people succeed and organisations grow.

This guides everything that we do and is at the heart of our ESG and Corporate Responsibility programme.

Our ESG strategy focuses on 4 key pillars:

01

Support our communities

02

Protect the environment

03

Champion DE&I

04

Operate with integrity

1. Support our communities

At Vivo Talent, we believe recruitment is more than filling roles — it’s about building stronger, fairer and more resilient communities. We actively create opportunities for people who need them most.

Our community commitments:

  • Local job creation – prioritising local talent to support regional economies.
  • Employability programmes for NEETs, young people, care leavers and disadvantaged groups, including CV workshops, coaching and interview support.
  • Volunteering initiatives – every employee contributes two volunteer days annually to community, education or charity projects.
  • School & college outreach – delivering career talks, mock interviews, and raising awareness of career pathways.
  • Charity partnerships supporting organisations focused on social mobility, inclusion and community uplift.

2. Protect the environment

We recognise our responsibility to minimise our environmental footprint and operate sustainably across all areas of our business.

Our environmental actions:

  • Net Zero by 2028 – our formal commitment to achieving  Net Zero ahead of national targets.

  • Digital-first recruitment – virtual interviews, digital CVs, online onboarding and cloud-driven workflows that eliminate paper and reduce travel.

  • Tree planting for every placement – supporting global reforestation efforts.

  • Renewable energy & low-waste operations – 100% renewable electricity, recycling programmes, paperless offices and elimination of single-use plastics.

  • Low-emission travel – electric company fleet, public transport incentives and remote-first working to reduce commuting emissions.

3. Champion DE&I

Creating equal access to opportunity is central to how we operate. We champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all parts of our recruitment process and internal culture.

Our DE&I commitments:

  • Bias-free recruitment – anonymised shortlisting, inclusive language and bias-checked job adverts.

  • Accessible hiring – guaranteed reasonable adjustments and support for candidates with disabilities.

  • Inclusive outreach – targeted engagement with underrepresented groups and diversity networks.

  • Internal equity – fair, transparent opportunities within our own business.

  • Promoting representation – supporting clients in building diverse teams that reflect the communities they serve.

4. Operate with integrity

Integrity underpins everything we do. Our clients, candidates and communities trust us to act ethically, transparently and responsibly.

Our approach to governance:

  • Ethical recruitment practices – honest communication, transparent processes and responsible candidate management.
  • Strong compliance – GDPR aligned, legally compliant operations and secure data handling.
  • Sustainable governance – annual ESG reporting, board oversight and PPN 06/21 compliant frameworks.
  • Responsible supply chain – partnering only with ethical, sustainable suppliers.
  • Continuous improvement – regularly reviewing and upgrading practices to meet evolving standards, including progress toward ISO 14001.
